    (Considers the logistics)
Yeah, you would have to be pretty crazy to fuck a snake.
    Or seriously drunk.
Or a character in CLV, in which case you’re probably crazy & drunk.

  • Arikado // Sep 15, 2007 at 8:46 am

    “Now begins the real horror.”

    Finishing the movie.

Snakes though?!? Will we see Medusa in part one?

  • Eli // Sep 15, 2007 at 9:31 am

I think the real horror also entitles how much will be hacked, cut, and removed by the other guys in charge.
    Serriously though, cant wait

  • adamag // Sep 15, 2007 at 1:31 pm

Hey Project 51 which other video game francise
would like to adapt into animation the most
Super Mario or Sonic the Hedgehog ?

  • Arlington Cruz // Sep 15, 2007 at 8:29 pm

I agree with Eli. The real horror is all the Butchered up stuff . i hope that the rest of the people working on the project are very knowledgeable about Castlevania and really passionate. Only then the final product will reflect that.

  • kevin // Sep 16, 2007 at 7:05 am

    To adamag: Neither.

  • RJG // Sep 17, 2007 at 6:14 am

Sounds like Medusa…I know when I read “snake-fuckingly crazy” I immediately thought of a scene from Ninja Scroll.

I hope the animation is up to scratch, and that there are some decent voice actors in this. I mean, SOTN cheese is all well and good, but it’s not quite what I’d like to see in a proper animation.

  • Pedro // Sep 18, 2007 at 10:10 am

Damn. Now I just HAVE to watch this.

  • Greg // Sep 18, 2007 at 9:40 pm

I’m not sure which is worse, that you all read “Snake-Fuckingly Crazy” and assumed it was a teaser about Medusa, or that I read it and actually imagined how hard it would be to fuck a snake.

  • Rhett Whittington // Sep 19, 2007 at 3:13 am

Awesome it’s Done !!! now the only question is, how bad will it get cut up and butchered before we see the final product? I am a die-hard fan of the series, but somehow I have a strange feeling that it’s gonna get messed up somehow in production and the end result will end up sucking… …I sincerely hope it all turns out awell and we get a kick-ass Castlevania movie. I about shit when I saw van helsing because it was such a BAD castlevania rip-off. so hopefully they do this right.

  • adamag // Sep 19, 2007 at 7:18 am

When will we see a trailer for the animated movie ?

  • Pedro // Sep 19, 2007 at 10:15 am

    ^ I wouldn’t expect anything before 2008.

  • Richter Belmont // Sep 20, 2007 at 2:45 am

When we will see some artworks?

C’mon, do something special for us….

  • Doom Saber // Sep 20, 2007 at 11:33 am

    “Snake-Fuckingly Crazy” LOL

Does that mean that Medusa has a sex scene with someone? LOL Kidding

  • Warren // Sep 21, 2007 at 11:15 am

    Medusa?

DO YOU PEOPLE EVER LEAVE THE HOUSE?

  • RJG // Sep 22, 2007 at 1:26 am

I left the house today. That big blue room sure is getting brighter now that winter’s over.

Seriously though, Medusa had boobs and everything on the SNES version. Is there at least a little titty fuck? And is her bottom half a snake, like a mermaid’s bottom is a fish? Or is she more of the traditional Gorgon type?

Because we need to know these things.
    Snake fucking. It’s serious business.

  • Doom Saber // Sep 23, 2007 at 4:03 pm

RJG is right. LOL I mean, after reading the script preview about the beastility story, a scene of Medusa knockin’ boots with someone isn’t so far fetched. LOL

I’d hate to imagine how she does it, though.

  • Jerkofwonder // Sep 24, 2007 at 6:46 pm

It would have to be doggie style… or you know, she’d turn you to stone.

  • DumbComment // Sep 25, 2007 at 12:21 pm

Not that this is your area, W.E., but I agree with the art questions. Can we see something here, please?

The rest of you:come on. Ask a real question and grow the fuck up

  • Arikado // Sep 27, 2007 at 1:54 pm

    Warren and DumbComment:

    Never and no.

  • adamag // Sep 28, 2007 at 7:16 am

    Dear Project 51 ,
Is There a brand new animated Castlevania Series not one based on this movie ?

  • Tranceplant // Sep 29, 2007 at 9:41 am

Oh god… don’t tell me this has turned into hentai… LOL! Joking…

I can’t wait to see how “snake-fuckingly crazy” this is.

  • Arlington Cruz // Oct 3, 2007 at 12:21 pm

I agree with some of the comments above. It would be great to see some art. However, I figure that it hasn’t been donein order to avoid flaming discussions and insults like the oneshappening in the Street fighter II HD blog.

  • Arikado // Oct 5, 2007 at 10:09 am

Street Fighter II HD? Where?!? I loved that old game.

Warren should twist the story and have Lisa be cursed into Medusa.

  • Jerkofwonder // Oct 5, 2007 at 5:54 pm

    ^ You officially suck.

  • Pedro // Oct 8, 2007 at 10:56 am

    Give us something. Anything.

    … please?

  • Arlington Cruz // Oct 10, 2007 at 6:11 pm

@ Arikado: Since we are at the castlevania forum, And I love castlevania as much as I love street fighter( hell, Castlevania existed before ) So I;ll let you do the search at the street fighter capcom blogs. This Castlevania forum, needs to spice things up a bit. It would loved to see some art, Storyboards, some concept Art, I know that no one wants to spoil anything, But some light visual ideas or interpretations of plot and characters, Would be nice. Humm… I am wondering if the Moderators of the blog are still reading…

  • Greg // Oct 12, 2007 at 10:22 am

Seeing as how other people are requesting artwork, creative input, and spoilers before the damn thing’s even in production, I’d like to ask for a pony.

Not in the game or anything. Just a flesh and blood pony.

In fact, I’ll be honest, if I don’t get the pony until after the DVD has gone on sale, that’s fine. No rush, good things are worth the wait.

  • Ryan // Oct 12, 2007 at 7:28 pm

I second the request for a pony. I want one, too.

  • Arlington Cruz // Oct 13, 2007 at 5:04 pm

Ok I take that back. I’ll be patient…But I also would like a pony in the meantime.

  • Spider Jerusalem // Oct 15, 2007 at 9:04 am

    C’mon…

¿Why is this blog updated only monthly?

We demand some Castlevania Goodness! If not artworks, another script excerpt will do just fine…

  • Greg // Oct 15, 2007 at 11:08 pm

They just started making the damn thing! There is no Castlevania goodness in existence yet!

  • Spider Jerusalem // Oct 17, 2007 at 2:30 am

Well, it’s almost been a year since the first entry on this blog. (January 2007)

I wouldn’t say that they started the project yesterday either…

So, there must be some new material to show to the fans and orientated to marketing purposes, mustn’t it?

You know, the typical promotional poster “Coming Soon in 2008″, etc…

¿Or is it that they are going to show one new artwork per year?

C’mon, we’re fanboys after all, we need some new material regularly to keep the hype up!

  • KAiWAi // Oct 18, 2007 at 12:37 pm

That’s true, we are really waiting for more art-works like this concept art from Sam Weber :

    http://www.sampaints.com/artwork/portfolio/pictures/castlevania.jpg

  • Arikado // Oct 20, 2007 at 6:45 am

Sorry about the street fighter thing. Mini obsession…

Personally I would rather have a pet dragon, or maybe a clone instead of a pony. Then my dragon (or clone) could steal some new artwork for me drool over and then get bored with within a week. Actually I wouldn’t mind all this waiting if Warren would just say if a trailer, audio clip, artwork, or section of script is on the way. This forum has died many times before with nothing new, and I’m beginning to wonder if Warren needs frequent periods of rest in a cryogenic chamber.

On that note, I’m still hyped for the movie. The new Castlevania game for psp should help tide me over (can’t wait!).

  • Arlington Cruz // Oct 21, 2007 at 1:19 pm

    @ Arikado:
No problem Man, Castlevania, Street Fighter and Ninja Gaiden are my Favorite Game fanchises of all time. Because I respect this game and Konami so much, I don’t want to unbalance things .

Yes I agree once the Dracula X comes out on PSP it will help resurrect the darkness within all of us.

    ^_^

@ greg: My intention wasn’t to be rude. If it seemed that way, I Apologize. I love Castlevania as much as you do, I just wish that there was stuff posted more often in this blog.

And yes we are all Fanboys here

  • lovestheladies // Oct 22, 2007 at 8:45 am

My greatest fear is that the movie is going to look like this:

    http://www.conanrednails.com/

  • JOEmega // Oct 24, 2007 at 3:46 pm

I’m really excited for this, and the live action movie. I have a question though..why do you have to have the characters say “fuck”? I mean, I don’t know, it sounds stupid coming from me, but do you really have to have such language?

  • Auturgist // Oct 24, 2007 at 11:50 pm

Do you guys actually take a comment like that seriously? Really, think about it: “snake-fuckingly crazy”.

My biggest question is, “When did this stop being a production blog for the Castlevania movies and start being Warren’s way of fucking with the fans?”

Not that I take offense or care that much… I don’t believe “snake-fuckingly crazy” is in the script for a second, but I was hoping this site would offer some degree of genuinely interesting news about the movies. Instead, I think it’s become an outlet for Warren’s personal amusement. Oh well, I don’t check it all that often anway… now I can stop completely.

  • Dragon // Oct 25, 2007 at 2:13 pm

I have to agree with Auturgist here. At first this seemed like a very cool idea. But in seeing how it has been executed, I am very disappointed. We are not gaining insight into the production, we are not learning about the process and we are not even getting information about the movie.

While a mix of seriousness and humor is good, it seems Warren is presenting us with humor and nothing of substance. And even that is so rare that I find myself checking this blog less and less. I can only hope that Warren returns to what he set out to do, because some of the enduring fans who will continue to check this blog no matter what. And for you eternal fans, I hope he actually starts to do what he so clearly stated on the about page: present a production blog for the animated movie based on the classic Konami videogame, Castlevania III: Dracula’s Curse.

  • RJG // Oct 25, 2007 at 7:13 pm

Wow, way to hate on Warren there. Now that the script is done, Warren’s part is largely finished. He’s done his part, now it’s up to the directors, producers, casting agents and animators to make it worth the effort.

  • Arikado // Oct 26, 2007 at 11:40 am

    RJG:

I’m sure Warrens still involved in some small part. Like making sure the script is transitioned fully intact. If the forum was really dead Warren should at least have the decency to tell us.

  • RJG // Oct 28, 2007 at 12:04 am

I figured other production people would take over, like a concept artist or animator or composer and they would update as they completed bits and pieces.

  • Lupus // Oct 30, 2007 at 1:09 am

This Animation based on my favourite Castlevania game will make me the happiest man alive.

  • Arikado // Nov 1, 2007 at 12:41 pm

    RJG:

Now I see what you mean.

  • TheUnbeholden // Dec 8, 2007 at 7:54 am

indeed. Warren must await the changes to script. “snake-fuckingly crazy.” comes to mind.. im not sure about the Medusa thing…
